A week intensive with Bach
The BachPlus Masterclass combines intensive coaching with concert experience and is founded on musical exchange, concentration and artistic craftsmanship.

• baroque string players: violin, viola, cello and double bass

Programme to prepare
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750)
• Motet Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden, BWV 230
• Cantata Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern, BWV 1
Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (1714–1788)
• Symphony in G major, Wq 180 / H 655
Singers:
In addition to the required programme, each singer is asked to prepare two arias from Bach’s vocal repertoire. These arias may be performed and studied during the masterclass.
Instrumentalists:
Instrumentalists are required to prepare the Bach cantata and the C. P. E. Bach symphony. They are not required to prepare any additional individual repertoire.

Participation is free. The BachPlus class is a learning and performing program, driven by exchange, concentration, and musicianship.
